Founder, CEO

A National Science Foundation Graduate Research fellow, Sarah Lukes received an electrical engineering PhD from Montana State University in 2015. Her diverse background includes working in orthopedics/radiology, cardiovascular stents, and cryogenics at the Mayo Clinic, Boston Scientific, and S2 Corporation, respectively.  In 2015, Dr. Lukes started Agile Focus Designs to forge connections across disciplines for the advancement of miniature imaging, science, and healthcare.

Ethan Keeler completed his doctoral research at the University of Washington (UW) as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on optical MEMS, controls, and micro-fabrication. Before joining Agile, Dr. Keeler served the United States Congress as a technology advisor for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. During his PhD, he was a fellow of UW’s commercialization arm, CoMotion, where he participated in market research, technology licensing, and technology transfer.
